GB Railfreight are currently seeking an SCO Strategic Account Manager to join the Infrastructure Commercial Team, to facilitate the end-to-end long-term strategic plans of the Supply Chain Operations (SCO) contract and support the Infrastructure Haulage Contract Manager with all aspects of the SCO contract.
The main aim of this role is to improve and implement the long-term contractual plans with GBRf planning departments, by taking a proactive approach to SCO contract orders, knowing what orders can be accepted, taking into account rostering, route / traction knowledge and overall business demand and profitability.
The services you will be responsible for are:
• Network Rail Possessions Services
• Network Rail Bulk Ballast Services
• Network Rail Network Services
• Seasonal services
• Any other Infrastructure services
The successful candidate will be responsible for maximising the profitability and order book of all current and future SCO contracts by providing the wider GBRf team, client and any associated suppliers, with a clear point of contact for all long-term plans relating to GBRf’s delivery of its commercial obligations within the contract.
You will be proactive in managing all SCO long-term plans in liaison with all internal and external stakeholders.
