I am pleased to advertise this fantastic new role which has arisen in our Finance team based in Felixstowe. The Finance Assistant plays a critical role in assisting the current purchase ledger team with processing purchase invoices accurately and in a timely manner and therefore helping maintain good working relationships with all our suppliers. The successful applicant will also be responsible for providing intermodal administration support and processing staff expense claims, ensuring their accuracy and correct coding at all times.
This role would suit a candidate looking to for their first step into the finance industry.
The successful candidate will be responsible for reconcilling supplier statements and ensuring all invoices are accounted for. Accuracy and correct coding of the information contained in the charges and invoices is vital.
Other responsibilities include:
• Processing staff expense claims, ensuring their correct coding
• Providing additional support to existing purchase ledger team with processing supplier invoices into Navision
• Ad hoc administration support as required.
