Overview

We are looking for a Safety Performance & Risk Analyst to join our Safety department. You will be with great with Excel, ie pivot tables and producing graphs, with high attention to detail as you will be supporting with managing and analysing safety related information. You will enjoy working in a varied role which includes getting out on site to operational facilites as well as other GBRf offices. The role may also involve line management of the Safety Administrator.

 

Please note that internal training will be given and this will include IOSH.

 

The position will be based at our new Head quarters in Peterborough.

 

Responsibilities

 They are also responsible for risk management including validation of;

  1. safety data (owner and admin for SMIS+ and its reports)
  2. Incident & Accident reporting tracking of investigations and remedial actions
  3. Creation of monthly draft reports for internal and customers (including tracking of KPIs for HSSEQ)
  4. Identify and flag trends from monthly, quarterly and annual performance
  5. Administration for compliance on competence management system and report production
  6. Support in creation of team presentations, publications and briefings
  7. Provide general administration support for the Head of Safety
  8. Administer the issue of any external consultation papers (guided by HoS)
  9. Support issuing of company ID cards, cab passes and PTS for Standards Team
  10. Represent company on SMIS User & Advisory Groups (as required)
  11. Cover document control (as required for the Safety, Standards & Engineering inc Channel Tunnel documents)
  12. Upload documents to the GBRf SmartBrief, RS docs and other platforms as required.
  13. Assist in audit administration
  14. Collate data and documentation for Supplier Approval and Business Tenders

Qualifications

  • GCSE English and Mathematics (grade C or above ot equivalent)
  • Proficient with MS Office packages such as Excel
  • Experience in report writing and or shared communication's to internal customers
  • High attention to detail
  • Must hold a clean UK driving license
  • Ability to work flexibly
