GBRf are pleased to announce we have a brand new position available for a Fleet Manager based at our Peterborough office. The successful candidate will be responsible for the control and seamless delivery of GBRf’s loco, wagon and road fleet supply.
We are seeking aprofessional and influential manager with previous fleet planning experience in the railway industry to join this fast growing successful business.
This role will report to the Production Director and will be a key part of GBRf’s leadership team. You will be responsible for managing a team of 3 individuals based in Peterborough ensuring that the fleet operations are safe, efficient and cost effective. Working alongside embedded suppliers such at EMD and VTG the successful candidate will need to engage with these and other suppliers regularly to meet challenging fleet availability targets.
We are currently seeking a full time Planning Manager to be based in our Doncaster office.
The primary focus of the role will be to oversee the day-to-day management of the Planning Team and deliver the weekly production train plan in the most cost effective method.
Candidates must possess strong leadership skills and have the ability to support, develop and coach staff in a fast paced environment so that employees reach their full potential in their current role.
