Join our team as a Safety Business Partner to enhance our culture of safety excellence and drive continuous improvement. This role can be located in the South or West of the country.   This role will be responsible for the strategic and functional development and delivery of the Safety Management System, whilst also providing support and advice on a range of health, safety, security and wellbeing activities across the Southern or Western region.   The role holder will work in collaboration with the Safety Team and the Risk & Compliance department to develop awareness, understanding and application of the Safety Management System and seek to drive continuous improvement so that our safety culture is enhanced within the company.    This will include monitoring and assisting in the close out of non-conformances, reporting to the Executive Team on action plans and offering close out if non-conformances for their teams on a monthly basis.   You will also assist in the internal audit program to ensure GBRf are compliant with ISO45001, ISO14001, ISO9001, environmental and other legislative, or regulatory requirements.   Regular travel across the UK is required for this role. A clean driving licence must be held.   Closing date: 6th May 2024  

Our Intermodal customers at GB Railfreight are at the core of our operations and everything we do.   To support with the demands of running the Intermodal operation at the Port of Felixstowe we have an opening for a Senior Service Delivery Manager to deliver and manage daily train productivity and performance within the Intermodal Operational Team. This role will act as direct report for our Service Execution Manager, Customer Service Manager and Intermodal Support Manager overseeing on train fill and management of GBRf assets ensuring close day to day liaison with key members of the wider business to ensure we deliver above and beyond for our Intermodal customers.   Service is key within our Intermodal sector, at GB Railfreight we want to be the best in the business. You will lead on the development and delivery of plans to ensure Intermodal customer satisfaction, growth and improve ROS.   Our core values at GBRf are an integral part of what we do. We are seeking a skilled Rail Planner with expertise in Short Term Timetable and Informed Traveller Planning. You will manage the production of weekly train plans and day to day interactions with Network Rail ensuring that the train plans are developed in accordance with GBRf Standards, planning guidelines and codes of practice. You will also Identify Network Rail engineering works that will influence the weekly train plan, communicating the impact of this to relevant stakeholders. This will be done in the specified time frame as determined by Network Rail guidelines.    Get ready to wear many hats in this role and to become an essential member of our Planning team!
